We make them turn them off! I get fed up when I go to conferences or lectures and the first thing I'm told is to turn my phone off.<br /><br />So I am telling you to turn your mobile phones on. Obviously you should turn the sound off - a phone ringing in the middle of a lecture would just be rude. However, one of the things I will ask you to do is to use your phone to send a specially formatted text to <span>07786 202 820</span>. Pose questions or share your thoughts and feelings about the lecture as it happens.<br /><br />I will give small, chocolate based prizes for the best submissions.
